As COVID-19 cases fall, Philly allowing restaurants to increase indoor dining capacities

Philadelphia restaurants can expand their indoor dining capacities from 25% to 50% if they can comply with a new set of standards for indoor ventilation. The initiative, beginning Feb. 12, 2021, comes as COVID-19 cases continue to fall in the city. Health officials also provided new details on efforts to vaccinate teachers, school staffers and child care workers as the broader vaccine rollout continues.
