Atlantic City indoor waterpark opening postponed over incomplete permits

Island Waterpark at Showboat Resort delayed the opening of its 100,000-square-foot waterpark. Billed as the largest on a beachfront, the attraction was scheduled to open on Friday, June 30. However, developer Bart Blatstein said he wanted to ensure everything was perfect before it opened to the public and will now open Saturday, July 7. State officials in New Jersey said the waterpark did not have the proper permits to open.
