Biden's COVID-19 diagnosis led to cancellation of Pennsylvania trip



President Joe Biden has likely contracted the highly contagious BA.5 variant of the omicron strain of COVID-19, which meant he had to cancel planned visits to Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre on Thursday. Some of the president’s symptoms have improved according to a release from his doctor. The president was going to celebrate the passage of gun reform and mental health bill called the ‘Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.’
