Camden County brewery to close in response to N.J. craft brewing restrictions, pandemic difficulties

Lunacy Brewing Co., a craft brewery located at 1500 W. Kings Highway in Haddon Heights, Camden County, is closing its doors permanently on Sept. 16 in part due to New Jersey’s restrictions that govern how breweries can operate throughout the state. A bill peeling back those restrictions has stalled in the state legislature, with Gov. Phil Murphy expected to “conditionally veto” the measure in order to include his liquor license plan in the legislation.
