Camden County to bolster mental health services, addiction treatment with money from opioid settlement

Camden County will use the first $1.2 million it receives from the national opioid settlement to improve mental health services and addiction treatment. Youth who are expelled from school for mental health issues will be paired with mental health providers. A mobile buprenorphine program will deliver medication-assisted treatment to people via vans. And Narcan kits will be provided to people who are released from the hospital following an overdose.
