Chemical leak at Gloucester County truck stop unleashes pungent scent across South Jersey

A chemical leak at the TA Travel Center in Paulsboro, Gloucester County is the source of a gas-like odor that could be smelled across much of South Jersey on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The substance was identified as the fuel additive Lubrizol, but officials say there’s no threat to the public. The chemical was emanating from a rear tanker at the truck stop.
