Chipotle agrees to pay New Jersey $7.75 million over alleged child labor law violations

Chipotle has agreed to pay $7.75 million to New Jersey as part of a settlement over allegations of ‘persistent’ violations of the state’s child labor laws. In addition to the payment, Chipotle will have to incorporate a compliance plan for its 85 locations in the state.
