CHOP updates COVID-19 guidance, says schools should 'prioritize' in-person learning during omicron surge

As the School District of Philadelphia continues to monitor schools individually in determining whether to open in-person or remain virtual, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s PolicyLab released updated guidance that suggests schools should prioritize in-person learning as the omicron variant’s infection is “milder” in children than previous variants.
