City Council moves to prohibit supervised injection sites in most parts of Philadelphia

Philadelphia City Council voted to prohibit supervised injection sites, otherwise known as overdose prevention sites, from being implemented in most parts of the city. West and Southwest Philly were not included in the bill, which passed 13-1. Mayor Jim Kenney may veto the bill, but his veto can be overridden by City Council.
