Comcast abandons plan to roll out household internet data caps in the Northeast in 2022



Comcast will not move forward with data caps for household internet subscribers in its Northeast territory in 2022, marking the second consecutive year the company has scrapped an expansion of usage-based billing. The 1.2 terabyte limit is already in effect in Comcast’s Central and Western divisions, where customers are billed for exceeding their monthly threshold.
