Community College of Philadelphia to forgive $1.4 million in student debts

The Community College of Philadelphia is using $1.4 million in federal funding to pay the outstanding tuition balances of about 1,900 students. Last year, CCP forgave the debts of nearly 3,500 students in an effort to maintain enrollment. This year, school administrators cited inflation as the reason they allocated the COVID-19 relief funding to student debts.
