Cooper University, Cape Regional health care systems to merge

Cooper University Health Care and Cape Regional Health System plan to merge into a single South Jersey system that would include two hospitals, six urgent care centers and more than 130 ambulatory locations across eight counties. The two health systems, based in Camden and Cape May Court House, seek to gain regulatory approval for the merger by early 2024.
