Eagles fans sue Washington Commanders over railing collapse at FedEx Field

Four Philadelphia Eagles fans who were injured when a guardrail at FedExField collapsed in January have filed a federal lawsuit against the Washington Commanders, security staff and stadium building maintenance contractors. Video of the Jan. 2 incident showed fans crash to the concrete below, within inches of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts as he was leaving the field. The lawsuit claims the defendants were negligent and the plaintiffs are each seeking more than $75,000 for ongoing treatment of the injuries they suffered.
