Ex-City Councilmember Bobby Henon sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for bribery conviction



Former Philadelphia City Councilmember Bobby Henon was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison on Wednesday. The Democrat, who spent more than 10 years in office, was convicted of conspiracy and wire fraud charges for accepting a $70,000 union salary to use his position to carry out the agenda of former IBEW Local 98 leader John Dougherty. Henon must report to prison by April 17.
