Gun reform bill supported by two Pa. Republicans — Sen. Toomey and Rep. Fitzpatrick

Two Republicans representing Pennsylvania — Sen. Pat Toomey and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick — were among 29 in their party who voted in favor of the new gun control legislation signed into law by President Joe Biden on Saturday. Toomey has long been one of the main GOP members pushing for gun control. Fitzpatrick has carved out a reputation as a moderate in a district the president won in 2020. Statewide 55% of Pennsylvanians support stronger gun control.
