Officials in Philadelphia are calling for Mayor Jim Kenney to resign following comments he made after a shooting on the Ben Franklin Parkway during the Welcome America Fourth of July fireworks. City Controller Rebecca Rhynhart and Councilmembers Allan Domb and Derek Green were among those who criticized Kenny. All three are potentially eyeing a run for mayor in 2023.
