Lansdowne home health care agency must pay $2.3 million in back wages to workers, investigators say



Affectionate Home Health Care, a non-skilled nursing agency based in Lansdowne, Delaware County, must pay more than $2.3 million in back wages and damages to 398 employees after failing to provide adequate overtime pay as required by federal labor laws. Owners Ashford B. Sonii and Habibatu K. Dumbar did not separate straight time and overtime pay and did not record overtime pay rates accurately, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division.
