Lehigh Valley man dies 4 days after police shot the snake strangling his neck



Elliot Senseman, the 28-year-old Lehigh County man whose pet snake strangled his neck last week, died Sunday, July 24. Police had shot the boa constrictor to remove it from Senseman, who was in cardiac arrest. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office determine he died of an anoxic brain injury due to asphyxiation, by constriction.
