Man assaulted after chasing robber who stole his wallet at Jefferson Station, police say

Philadelphia police are searching for several suspects involved in an assault that occurred on SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line subway on Dec. 12. The incident happened after a robber stole the wallet of a 20-year-old man on the platform of Jefferson Station in Center City. The man chased the robber onto the train, where he was attacked by a group of men, investigators said. Authorities released surveillance video of the assault and are seeking help from the public to identify the suspects.
