Maryland angler beats Pennsylvania man's record for largest flathead catfish

Maryland fisherman Joshua Dixon, 34, caught a 57-pound, 50-inch long flathead catfish on Dec. 27 near the Lapidium Boat Ramp on the Susquehanna River. The catch topped two fish caught in Pennsylvania over the last two years as Dixon became the first state record holder for the invasive catfish.
