Moorlyn Theatre, Ocean City's historic boardwalk cinema, to reopen under new ownership

The Mooryln 4 Theatre on the Ocean City boardwalk has been acquired by Town Square Entertainment, the same movie theater chain that his cinemas in Ventnor and Stone Harbor. The company plans to renovate and reopen the property, which has not operated as a theater since 2018. The Moorlyn Theatre first opened as a movie theater in 1922. It was previously was a bowling alley.
