N.J. expands AP African American Studies to 26 high schools in response to Florida backlash

New Jersey is expanding its AP African American Studies courses from one school to 26 across the state in the next academic year. This decision was made as the College Board’s course is growing nationally, and in response to Florida’s Gov. Ron DeSantis’ choice to ban the course in Florida public schools.
