New Philly library director to take charge in aftermath of discrimination allegations

The Free Library of Philadelphia has selected Kelly Richards as its director and president. Richards brings more than three decades of library services experience, primarily in Michigan and Nevada. His appointment comes as the city’s public library has grappled with accusations of workplace discrimination and racism.
