Orsted abandons New Jersey offshore wind projects, citing rising costs

Orsted, the Danish green energy company, has abandoned its plans to build offshore wind turbines off the New Jersey coast, citing high costs and inflation. Orsted was planning to build two projects – Ocean Wind 1 and Ocean Wind 2 – about 15 nautical miles southeast of Atlantic City.
