Felicia Wilson, the owner of Amina and BlackHen, has opened a new restaurant called Avana in the Park Towne Place apartment building on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The restaurant will feature comfort food dishes, with a unique twist on the famous McRib sandwich from McDonald’s. Wilson also recently opened another restaurant called Fia, which specializes in Latin Fusion cuisine, located at Center City’s Fairfield Inn & Suites. Avana will officially open on December 29th, offering diners a new dining experience in the heart of Philadelphia.
