Pa. to increasingly monitor waterways for PFAS contamination

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is keeping a closer eye on the “forever chemicals” found in many state waterways. The DEP announced increased monitoring of PFAS in untreated surface water after a report found the substances in 76% of sampled streams.
