Philadelphia Fire Department to host citywide drill Thursday night

The Philadelphia Fire Department is hosting a citywide drill at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Residents are urged to put their home escape plans into place when sirens ring out across the city. The drill is part of Fire Prevention Week. Firefighters also will be participating in a simulated fire response drill in Northeast Philly at 6 p.m.
