Philadelphia police lieutenant fired for allegedly using racial slur

Philadelphia Police Lieutenant Anthony McFadden will be fired after an investigation into allegations that he used the N-word during a radio call with another officer in June. McFadden was a 32-year veteran of the force who had been assigned to the Special Victims Unit. His termination comes after an internal affairs investigation. Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said such incidents “undermine the integrity” of the department.
