Philly schools will have students back in classrooms after winter break as omicron variant spreads

The School District of Philadelphia will have students back in schools after winter break, opting not to hold classes virtually while the omicron variant spreads and the number of COVID-19 cases rises. Archdiocesan schools also return with in-person learning. Others, like the Camden City School District and Pennsauken School District in New Jersey will hold classes virtually next week.
