Philly tap water remains safe to drink through at least Wednesday, officials say

Philadelphia’s tap water remains safe to drink until at least 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, city officials said. The city’s water supply from the Delaware River so far has not been contaminated from the chemical spill in Bucks County. The water will continue to be tested for several days to ensure that the water that enters the Baxter Water Treatment Plant is safe to consume.
