South Jersey valedictorian's mic cut during graduation speech about his queer identity

The mic of Bryce Dershem, valedictorian of Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, New Jersey, was cut during his graduation speech as he began speaking about his experience coming out as queer. Dershem claims school officials tried to censor his speech, which also mentioned his mental health struggles, but he went off the cuff.
