Temple, Penn State to raise tuition despite plea from GOP lawmakers

Four Pennsylvania colleges, including Penn State University and Temple University, are moving forward with tuition increases for the 2022-23 school year despite requests from Republican state lawmakers to freeze tuition in light of an infusion of federal funding. Lincoln University and the University of Pittsburgh also are increasing tuition.
