To fix public education in Pennsylvania, Democrats propose spending $3.1 billion more

To fix public education spending in Pennsylvania, Sen. Vincent Hughes has proposed a plan that would boost funding by $3.1 billion. His proposal comes in the wake of the Commonwealth Court ruling that the state’s school funding formula is unconstitutional. Gov. Josh Shapiro will address the issue during his first budget address on Tuesday, March 7.
