U.S. Marshals operation aided South Street shooting investigation

The U.S. Marshal Services arrested Rashaan Vereen, who was wanted in connection to the South Street shooting in Philadelphia, was part of Operation North Star, an initiative targeting fugitives wanted for violent crimes. The Marshals also arrested Al-Ashraf Khalil, who allegedly set a blaze in Fairhill that killed firefighter Sean Williamson.
