U.S. Supreme Court blocks Biden's student loan forgiveness plan

The Supreme Court struck down President Biden’s student loan debt forgiveness plan on Tuesday, saying that at least one of the six Republican states that challenged his plan would face financial losses if the plan were to be executed. The pandemic-era payment pause will resume in October without student debt relief. Biden said he would announce other actions on student loans later on Friday.
