Victorian buildings in Roxborough get protection while Philadelphia Historical Commission considers designation

Philadelphia City Council passed a temporary demolition ban protecting a group of victorian houses in Roxborough on Thursday. In a neighborhood that is being rapidly redeveloped, Councilmember Curtis Jones Jr. wants to ensure that the buildings will not be torn down while they await a decision by the Philadelphia Historical Commission.
