Haraz Coffee House is a Yemeni coffee shop located at 3421 Chestnut St. in University City. The shop offers traditional Middle Eastern drinks and desserts and is currently open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The owners, Farah Khan and Hamza Shaikh, have hopes of extending their hours to as late as midnight. They envision their shop as a late-night gathering space for people who may not enjoy going to bars.
