Cherelle Parker, Philadelphia’s new mayor, revealed the plan for her first 100 days in office during her inauguration ceremony Tuesday. The plan from the city’s first mayor pledges to combat public crime by declaring a public safety emergency and boosting the city’s police presence. It also includes initiatives aimed at improving education, business opportunity and urban blight.
