2022 business travel revenue for Philly hotels will be 37% lower than before pandemic, study predicts

Business travel revenue for Philadelphia hotels this year will be 37% lower than it was before the pandemic, a new study from the American Hotel and Lodging Association predicts. Although that could add up to almost $900 million less for the area economy than before the pandemic, the city is still faring much better than other large urban markets. Across Pennsylvania, the study estimates hotels will make 28% from business travelers than they did in 2019.
