Wayfair to open brick-and-mortar store at King of Prussia Mall with cafe, rooftop bar

Online home goods retailer Wayfair plans to open a brick-and-mortar location at the King of Prussia Mall. The company is remodeling the over 100,000 square foot space vacated by JC Penney in 2017 and expects to open their doors in 2023 or 2024. It tested out a pop up location in the mall back in 2019. The company’s stock has plummeted since the end of last year due to decreasing demand in the home goods sector and in the U.S. economy overall.
