Jan. 6 committee, along with criminal referrals for Trump, suggests sanctions for Pennsylvania congressman

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attacks referred U.S. Rep. Scott Perry to the ethics committee for potential sanctions. Perry, a Republican representing Pennsylvania’s 10th District, ignored a subpoena. The investigation alleges he conspired with former President Trump and Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
