Bellmawr gym owner who defied COVID-19 lockdowns charged with DUI amid run for congress

Ian Smith, a Republican congressional candidate in New Jersey’s 3rd District and co-owner of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, was charged with a DUI in Cinnaminson on Sunday morning. He first came to national attention in 2020 for refusing to shut his business down in accordance with the state’s lockdown orders.
