Bicyclist dies nearly a month after hit-and-run crash in Northeast Philly

A 43-year-old Philadelphia man who was critically injured after being hit by an SUV died Saturday. James B. Doughty was hit by a Range Rover while riding his bicycle just before 1 a.m. on Aug. 22; the driver fled the scene. Doughty suffered from shattered bones and internal bleeding in the abdomen and head.
