Center City Giant supermarket, flooded by Hurricane Ida's storms, set to reopen Saturday

The Giant at Riverwalk supermarket in Center City, Philadelphia, reopens Saturday morning for the first time since it was flooded by storms from Hurricane Ida a month ago. The Starbucks located in the store’s first-floor and an escalator that transports shopping carts down from the second-floor supermarket and food hall will remain out of service as repairs continue.
