Former Everybody Hits venue may become apartments, retail space

The historic building at the corner of Sixth Street and Girard Avenue, formerly home to the batting cages and live music venue Everybody Hits, could soon be preserved and redeveloped into apartments and retail. A plan being reviewed by the Philadelphia Historical Commission for the property on the edge of Norther Liberties and Olde Kensington would include 41 apartments and about 3,000 square feet of retail space.
