Gov. Wolf signs executive order to protect abortion access for out-of-state travelers

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf signed an executive order on Tuesday that enhances protections for out-of-state abortion seekers traveling to the state. It prohibits state agencies from taking part in investigations launched by other states into abortions provided in Pennsylvania. The fate of abortion access in Pennsylvania depends largely on November’s gubernatorial election, as Wolf’s final term ends in January 2023.
