It's about to become a lot easier to cancel gym memberships in New Jersey

Beginning April 1, 2024, New Jersey gyms that offer online sign-ups also must allow people to terminate their memberships on their websites. The new law, signed Monday by Gov. Phil Murphy, aims to make it easier to terminate gym memberships. Many gyms currently require in-person cancellations.
