New Jersey bill would ban smoking inside Atlantic City casinos

A bill in New Jersey would prohibit smoking inside Atlantic City’s casinos. Despite banning smoking in nearly all public indoor settings in 2006, casinos were exempt and permitted to created designated areas on the casinos’ gambling floors were people are allowed to smoke. A public hearing about the bill took place Monday and many casino workers support the change.
