Philly’s third-party food delivery services could soon have their fees capped at 15%

City Council passed a bill Thursday that would permanently cap food delivery service fees at 15% for restaurants, bars and other establishments across Philadelphia. Restaurants that wish to have higher fees in exchange for additional services beyond basic delivery and marketing would be permitted to opt out of the 15% cap. Third-party food delivery services that violate the law would face fines.
