Proposed law inspired by Damar Hamlin would require defibrillators at all Pa. school sports events

Pennsylvania Sen. Marty Flynn is planning to introduce a bill named after Damar Hamlin that would require automated external defibrillators at all school sporting events in the state. The proposal comes just weeks after the 24-year-old safety for the Buffalo Bills suffered cardiac arrest on the field during a Jan. 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is making strides in recovery after having his heartbeat restored on the field.
